I'm editing and editing. My stories, stories for the horsie anthology, and more.

So, no wordcount to crow on, but at least all stories are getting better.

Actually, I only wrote that little exercise today.

However, yesterday, I managed a real feat: I received a rejection for one of my stories in the afternoon. In the evening, I sent out the story again.

Instant turnaround. Never managed that before. emoticon

Got another rejection. This is getting frustrating.

In other news, I decided to start a local fantasy writers' group. I can use any luck you want to send my way. emoticon

Trying, that's great!

And I managed to get two totally new ideas and wrote them down in my ideas folder this very morning. Not sure what'll become of them, as one might only work in cooperation, but I like what I'm getting there.

Writing has been a train-wreck for me. I use up all my creative energy at work and then when I get home I just want to vegetate once the kids get to bed. But it's in there and it wants to come out.

Sometime soon... soon...

I did, indeed, work through lunch. I got some good planning done on one of the chapters in my novel.

Hopefully excitement will carry me past my fatigue and let me write that chapter tonight.

Nice to know I'm not the only Canuck on the board.

I wrote today!
434 words!
Hardly a torrid pace, but it's more than I've written outside of work-writing since February, so that's pretty cool.

Feeling better this evening than I have in awhile, with regard to writing. I got 831 words down. That's the most since I finished off Resurrection.

I might write a little more before bed, depending on how my snack break goes.

Back in it and loving it!

Yesterday, actually.

516 words. I closed off one chapter and started on the other without any of my usual procrastination. This is a very good thing.
