Re: I Wrote Today!
My goodness, you ARE productive! Congrats on finishing the Naked Crow 8. That's awesome!
Yesterday, I only managed about 700 words for Konrad, because of the darn thunderstorms. I turned off my computer several times. I got the laptop ready for today, since it's going to be even worse...
And to get a head start, I wrote about 500 words this morning since I was up early and had the time. (Actually, I love getting one round of writing done in the morning. It's very satisfying.)
And on my walk to work, I figured out how exactly the villain will get Konrad convicted. It involves killing a crow. But that's a scene that nobody there will forget, and the judges will not forgive him for that.
All the best for Hilda 24 and all the rest! No, we don't have time for our jobs!

Re: I Wrote Today!
I wrote 537 words yesterday morning, and that was all for the day.
Today, I wrote a bit in the morning, didn't check word count. I hope I can add more this afternoon.
The villain will do a dastardly deed today, and get Konrad convicted.

Re: I Wrote Today!
Good writing, you Firlefanz person.
I've been writing too. Kobie 1 English is translated a bit more. I started Hilda 24 second edition. Almost done editing the Emma story.
A friend sent me a bunch of links to Canadian Native legends (Mohawk, Cree and one I don't remember) to delve into for Naked Crow 9. Naked Crow 8 is off to my friend Will for edits. And I am going to edit Will's novel Skinners for him. Already got 5 pages done.

Re: I Wrote Today!
You're busy!
Have fun with all those tales.
I managed to get Konrad locked up. No threat of an execution, though, he fought back too well. But at least he's locked up and under no illusions that the villain will leave them alone.
So I still have to get him out of a locked room, and into the King's rooms... no idea how that'll happen, since the door has bolts on the outside - not something a cat will be able to handle.

Re: I Wrote Today!
200 words yesterday, before going out to Kiel Week with my Mom.
And 509 words tonight, after a lovely lazy and relaxing day.
Soon, Konrad will find out the true level of atrocity committed by the villain.

Re: I Wrote Today!
453 words for yesterday, written in the morning.
I wrote again this morning. We're getting close to the final challenge.
Konrad is figuring out what is wrong with the King (Laura's Father). And the villain will do her best to stop him from fixing it.

Re: I Wrote Today!
511 words in one writing round.
Konrad is close to reaching the King and examining what's wrong with him.
I also wrote a blog post, sent out a newsletter, and set up the new back-up system for my German blog.
That was hard. I had to face stuff I dislike doing, and tricky things with Google - but I did manage after a while, with a little support from a friend. Feeling drained, though. This was hard emotionally, too.

Re: I Wrote Today!
I've been writing. And editing. And lots of other stuff.
It has been horribly hot here (one day up to 37 C) so energy was low, as was my daily word-count.

Re: I Wrote Today!
You really like to make life hard on Konrad, don't you? Give the guy a prison-break! ;-)
1013 words in 3 stories, perhaps a new cover for Emma, and started working on the edits for Naked Crow 8...

That's the fate of a hero.
Well done, you. Good luck with the cover for Emma. You didn't like those legs, after all?
I managed 1,477 words for Konrad this morning. He found a way to handle all that energy, and he fixed part of the problem - but now he's paying for all that...

Wow, you are productive!
It's... like plotting after the fact, making a list of the scenes and then looking which work and which don't.
I managed 874 words for Konrad II today. And I edited another chapter for a friend.

And you're busy too.
1060 words for me, most for Hilda and Kobie 1 English. And 17 for NC9. I don't want to do too much on NC9 when NC8 is closing in on getting done (8 chapters edited now).

Re: I Wrote Today!
Well done! Yay for almost finishing NC 8. I will go and start NC 2 now.
I was almost ready to give up after writing 510 words. Then I pushed myself a little (I do want my books to earn me money, and that means writing and publishing), so I ended up with 1,021 words for Konrad.
He's getting a bit of a shock. I need to decide what happens with the all-important rock he brought back to Nova. Did Carro steal it? (That would be a very annoying cliff-hanger.)

I managed to write about 1k for Konrad, despite Ooperation Guest Bed" (more on that in the Cantina). I'm tying off loose ends and giving the King a happy ending.

You made nice progress.
I got 1094 words in today, and edited 2 NC8 chapters.
And got some special code running in my program.
Glad you like the Naked Crow stories. :-)

Re: I Wrote Today!
I very much enjoy the Crow stories. They have just the right mix of tension and fun for me.
That special code sounds awesome. And mysterious. And suspiciously like magic.
I managed 834 words for Konrad. It seems the King is not ready for a peace treaty but will agree to a cease-fire. Which gives me a nice peace celebration in part 3.
And I can end part 2 with a bit of a ceremony.

Re: I Wrote Today!
I finished Konrad II yesterday, with 623 words. Not entirely happy with the ending, it comes a bit suddenly. Another book lined up for editing. Definitely need to make time for that.
It's a success, but it's hard for me to celebrate.
No idea what to write next. Brain feels tired.

Re: I Wrote Today!
Congrats on getting Konnie 2 done.
And if your brain is tired, it might be time for a short writing break?
I wrote NOTHING yesterday unless the corrections in an NC8 chapter count. (And some computer code.)

Re: I Wrote Today!
I wrote a quick flash fiction tale yesterday, after editing Konrad II. Because I wanted to keep my promise about writing every day.
I think I'll skip over to writing the Demon Hunters series. But I'll also devote time to editing - got a backlog there that I really need to take care of, so I can publish more books.
Writing NOTHING is okay - you put in a lot of work in order to get a new book out. Plus that code.
I just have that thing going about writing every day. Even if it's just a few words.

Happy Dalek day for you then. (Dr Who fans will understand that reference.)
I figured out more Oklahoma and wrote 866 words. Most on Hilda and some on Avery's 3rd.
Make that 1246 words.

I know what a Delek is. And I know they say "exterminate".
Well done with Oklahoma. I had no idea words were lying around there, but I'm glad you found so many.
I added 756 words to The Exterminator. They think they may have managed to save their badly injured friend. And Gregory learned an important lesson.
