Cool puppies for cramming out almost a 1000 words!

I put down 1270 words, most of them for Naked Crow 8 again. Sheila got shot and escaped from hospital (which is where she got shot emoticon )

Oh, poor Sheila! I hope she'll be okay.

I did 960 or so words yesterday, and got a good start this morning. Konrad got hurt. His friends are taking care of him.

I like the 2x 15 minutes. With a bit more focus, they are enough to reach 1k per day. HUGE increase in speed.

Great going.

Focus. That is why I like my chromebook so much. It is just powerful enough to write on and nothing more so that is what happens.

I also need to think a little before sitting down to write. Plot the next scene, so to speak. Then writing happens quickly.

With the balcony open again, I should return to using my little laptop, too. emoticon

Be kind to your lappie!

1456 words. 250 for the translation of the first Kobie book, the rest for Naked Crow 8. Passed 50K in that story - that's almost 10K in one week! emoticon

Things are really moving now.

No lappy today, just too muggy out there.

Wow, that's a very nice total there for Sheila. Well done!

 emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I managed 1,004 words for Konrad today. Very happy reaching that milestone.

1,027 word for Konrad yesterday. Took me until about midnight... not the writing but resistence.

Stupid blocks.

So Konrad is basically their saviour? Nice job!

2580 words today, all for Naked Crow 8.
Sheila shot some people (nothing lethal) and is trying to make a psychic tell what all the fuss and threats are about.

Well, Konrad is an expert for energy work, mostly shields. And now he's figuring out a new way of using them.

Managed 453 words yesterday, after spiraling into a lot of resistance and blockage. So I'm proud of managing that.

Good luck for Sheila, may she be able to resolve everything.

I hope you can kick some Konrad ass today.

Things are mostly resolved for Sheila after another 1790 words. The people who were shot have the arrows removed and are not hurt (Sheila is kind of special). I left 4 lines with follow up pointers in the chapter for tomorrow.
They are:
-look at drawings
-children goodbye
-arrange pick-up of half of Matthew/attack Si-Te-Cah
-bring back Sophie

So. 512 words, mostly from this morning, and i am stuck.

Which means I need to back up and rethink Konrad's plans. What they did isn't working, and I may have to ditch those words and rewrite.

I'll let my writer brain come up with something over night.

Well done for Sheila. She does sound intriguing. Happy writing!

Tossing out a chapter and redoing it sometimes is the only option. Good luck working it out. I'm sure you can come up with a better plan.

Sheila is very special.

2082 words. Naked Crow 8 is now 58418 words long and will end well over 63000.
A massively complex part is now behind me. All that now remains (hahaha) is to smuggle parts of a dead body out of the naturist resort and to try and bring a woman back from a coma.

I wrote 35 words. And I did some massive brainstorming about the Konrad showdown (which will get painful for Konrad).

And the feedback for my author website was very valuable. Changes will happen. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

1501 words today. For Naked Crow 8 of course.
Sheila and Jeremy are leading 3 people into the alternate reality cave to locate the remaining remains of their long-since deceased family member.
Yes, this is quite a gruesome thing.

Well done. And I hope that family member can finally rest.

I wrote 271 words yesterday morning. And that was all for the day. I wrote more this morning.

Laura just got injured. It's a tense situation and difficult to write.

They are desperately trying to escape capture and putting up a better fight than I expected. emoticon

@Firlefanz: I think you need better dungeons and other lodgings. Then they wouldn't make such haste in trying to escape. I guess the food served there is rather below standards too, right?

I wrote around 1200 words yesterday and applied edits in 2 chapters of another story.

Nicely done. emoticon

I have to admit that the dungeons in the Royal Court are not enticing locations. The accommodation is decidedly uncomfortable, lacking heat and furniture, and the simple food is indeed delivered rarely.

However, they do admirably fit the general impression of dungeons and absolutely fulfill all expectations of such a location.

2 more Emma Nelson chapters edited.

1319 words today. I may get to finish Naked Crow 8 this weekend. Sheila is about to "go in" and does the first attempt to awaken a comatose person.

My goodness. That's amazing. Yay for Sheila!

852 word for Konrad tonight. They are still getting treated, and the healer has opinions. The guards learn more about mages... and it turns out the villain isn't universally liked.

I also created a new header for my website (that was this morning, and it seems looooong ago). Still need to put it in place.

And I gathered my courage and opened the ebook files for "Here be Dragons". emoticon

Lots of stuff to fix, like metadata, link errors and renaming parts of the tales for the ToC. And of course, updating the book list. Got it all done, did a check on my Kindle App, and the files are now uploading to all sellers.

I feel accomplished! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I wrote 1,010 words for Konrad today. The show trial has started.

I also fixed another Amazon link in the HBD epub and reuploaded it to D2D. (Blergh.)

I fixed the description of "Sequoia" on Amazon.

And I was pointed to two reviews for "Sequoia" that I missed for my newsletter. One on Goodreads, and one on Kobo. emoticon

Good job on doing 1K(onrad) hahaha and cleaning up the book bits.

Yesterday I wrote 2450 words and finished Naked Crow 8
Today I got to 669 words - too much going on. Did finish translating a Kobie chapter into English.

My friend Will sent back the 'Emma Nelson' story and thinks it's cool. Next up for him: Naked Crow 8. (Yes, he offered to do that too emoticon)

I've started writing a new Hilda 24 and will need to think of Naked Crow 9 and perhaps a sequel to Emma Nelson... (I have no time for a job.)
