Snowflakes....
I've heard, numerous times, about the snowflake method of planning a story. What is it?

It's a method for planning stories, starting out with general lines and then gradually adding more and more detail. It's called snowflake method, because you can see more and more detail the more you close in on a snowflake - like in a fractal graphic.
