Licensing is where the money lies when you publish books. And there are things you can do right now, as you're starting out. In this blog post, she talks about inventory, and setting up a file system for keeping all that informtion in one place (story, contracts, characteres, worlds, genre, licenses...). I'm leaning towards a database, but we'll see. I'm sure offers will pop up soonish.
