The Publishing Industry Changes Again
And this time it is because the big publishing houses are finally waking up to the fact that ebooks are making them a lot of money.
They have realized that they can actually put the backlist up as ebooks and keep making money for very low production costs. And since many authors signed away their ebook rights for very little - well, the publishing houses are raking in the money.

Continuing the topic of contracts in the publishing industry, here's a blog post by Victoria Strauss on Writer Beware.
It is utterly important to read and understand the contract you're signing. Even if it means paying a lawyer for it. Because your books are your assets.
