Four fixes for your manuscript


Just found this blogpost. It rambles a little, but then it provides four very important points that you must know to fix your story-telling and turn it into an enjoyable read.

They are not new. But they are still entirely valid.

What gets me most in tales is Point of View. So many self-publishers don't seem to get that one.

It doesn't help when there are famous authors who suffer from POV errors as well. Nora Roberts switches POV a lot.

Yes, that makes people think it's okay.

I think out chapters so I can stick to one PoV thoughout the chapter.

A good exercise would be to write from 1st person - there is only one PoV possible.
