De-lurking
Hi,
I've read this forum now and then. *waves to Firle* But since I write Historical Fiction, I never joined as active member.
But now a selkie has crept into one of my stories, and a werewolf is peering around the corner and I'm not sure I can keep him out much longer. So, besides half a dozen Historical Fiction projects I now have a Historical Fantasy one, too - and a selkie among the Romans should be fun.
Alamir is a Gothic warrior from one of my NiPs who turns out to be born Roman and raised by the Goths - something he finds out just when King Alaric lies siege to Rome. Mwuahaha
My real name is Gabriele, and I'm German.

Hi Alamir, welcome!
I'm very happy you found your way here.
Yep, selkies and werewolves are fantasy. They are also fascinating, I think, and just looking at their names makes little story sparks fly in my head.

Re: De-lurking
Hello!
I once read an interesting novel about a female werewolf in ancient Rome, written by Anne Rice's sister no less. I can't quite remember the plot, but it was certainly unique.
